thanks for so many people.
My heartfelt appreciation to
you, the Lions of Multiple District 33, for voting to endorse me as your
candidate for International Director 2005-2007. I am honored by your confidence and hope
to proudly represent the Multiple District throughout the world.
I would like to compliment each and every delegate
who voted, regardless of how they voted, for making the time to attend the
convention on Mother’s Day and fulfilling their responsibilities to their
clubs. Special thanks to the many women who gave up part of their special
Mother’s Day for us, the candidates and convention attendees. A belated Happy Mothers Day to you!
To my fellow candidates, their
partners-in-service, and their clubs -- John & Betty and the Haverhill
Lions Club, and “Pick” & Claudette and the Millis Lions Club -- we thank
you for a top-notch campaign. Vale and I look forward to working with you over
the coming years. Your continued friendship is special to us.
To the many Lions, clubs, and
friends who worked so hard for our campaign, there are not enough words to
thank you for your time and support.
During the past year, Vale and I had the opportunity
to renew old acquaintances and make a lot of new friends. We look ahead to the
