International Association of Lions Clubs

District 33 - A

Humanitarian Award
2007-2008

Each year, at the Midwinter Conference, the District presents an award to an individual (or individuals) who have distinguished themselves through humanitarian acts. Each club is asked to seek out that person (or persons) in your community. Every community has its hero(s), some of you will have a nominee in mind before the close of this letter, and others will need to take time to search one out.

Download the application form for this year's Humanitarian award. Please fill out this form and return it to the Humanitarian Award Chairman listed below before first Saturday, December, along with any supporting information such as newspaper articles, testimonials and endorsements. Please note Lions, Lioness and Leos are not eligible for this award. Nominations received after the deadline cannot be considered. I hope your club will put together a committee to actively seek out a nominee for this prestigious award.
