DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S MESSAGE

I

Greetings to the Lions of 33A,

Thank you for the honor of being your District Governor.  I am excited about this upcoming year with our new team including CST Toni, 1st VDG Mark, and 2nd VDG Babe.  Together we can achieve more.

Remember that all the Lions of 33A are on the same team – “The Knights of the Blind”.

Our International President, Eberhard Wirfs, has set as his theme “Move to Grow”.

We move forward with our service projects and our fundraisers.  We serve our Communities, our Lions Charities, and those less fortunate than ourselves.  We grow by inviting our family and friends to join us in service.

I look forward to working with the MERL team and GMT representatives to increase the strength of our district.  Each new member means two more hands to help and new ideas to share.

As we continue to do what is best for our communities, let us not forget that our combined donations to our Lions Charities allows us to be of greater service to many more in need.

I look forward to being with all of you at your club meetings and projects - at the

advisory and zone meetings – and our gala Mid-Winter Conference in February.

A journey begins with a first step – let the journey begin!

Yours in Lionism,

         Jeannette
