DISTRICT GOVERNOR’S MESSAGE
Welcome
to the District 33-A Lions Website!
Our District 33-A Lions encourage
you to visit this website and become more informed about the 51 Lions Clubs
located in central
Massachusetts.
Our Lions Clubs are comprised of men and women united and dedicated to service
within their communities often making a significant impact on those we serve.
Our youth are also very involved and successful providing similar services upon
joining Leos Clubs. Leos are also dedicated to community service while
continuing their education and having the advise, guidance and support of their
local Lions Club.
Lions Clubs International is the
largest service organization in the world with a membership of 1.35 million
Lions serving those less fortunate in 200 countries worldwide. There are
approximately 1600 Lions in District 33-A.
There are many programs and
committees associated with this website dedicated to assisting the elderly,
youth programs, Sight & Hearing assistance, Eye Research, District 33-A
Sightmobile and much more. Lions have many significant partnerships that are
mentioned throughout this website. Our partners have also dedicated themselves
to the growing needs in our communities.
Lions are ordinary people doing
extra-ordinary humanitarian service for others!
